Story- Director Guddu Dhanoa's action drama 'Ziddi' is the story of Deva Pradhan (Sunny Deol), a short tempered and stubborn middle-class lad. He lives with his father (Anupam Kher), brother (Sachin Khedekar) and sister (Richa Behl) about whom he is overtly protective. When a goon molests his sister, an enraged Deva cuts off his arm. He ends up being imprisoned and is eschewed by his father. In the prison, he is exposed to the criminal world and eventually becomes a part of it. When other criminals see him as a threat, they plot against him and frame him for the murder of the Chief Minister. Things go awry and the CM is now Deva's hostage. Moreover, his siblings are killed. An emotionally drained Deva finds solace in a dancer, Jaya (Raveena Tandon). But now Deva has to prove his innocence and confront the truth as to how the CM became his hostage.
